Please click here to e-mail Warwick Band Parent President Nancy Sweigart. 2008 Warwick High School Marching Band The Warwick School District in Lititz, PA is proud to present the Warwick High School Marching Band, performing their 2008 production “The Rise of The Samurai Warrior”. Observe the strength, agility, passion, and perseverance as the warriors confront weakness and defy defeat. The presentation is based upon the “Bushido”, or Samurai Code of Conduct, in which the Samurai Warrior must establish a delicate balance between their contrasting violent military existence and the wisdom and serenity of daily life. Observe the aggressive, yet graceful transformation of the warriors through three movements entitled, “To Defend the Honor of One’s Name”, “Absolute Loyalty and Serenity” and “Honor To the Death”. Follow the journey of the warriors, as they prepare for the ultimate victory. The Warwick High School Marching Band is under the direction of Rebecca Milley and is led onto the field by Drum Majors Dan Russo and Gabby Hull as well as Color Guard Captains Ashlee Eshleman, Jill Schlegel, and Miranda Work. The band’s Student Leadership team includes Woodwind Captain Laura Slater and Brass Captain Austin Carter. Section Leaders are Kaitlin Vargo, Kelly Smith, Alex Hughes, Austin Good, Christine Good, Dalton Sweigart, Andrew Greger, and Brianna Martin. Band Officers include President Brandon Engle, Librarians Katie Miller and Jenn Miller and Class Representatives Katherine Preston, Dalton Sweigart, Betsy Smith and Paul Belessis. Staff Members include Jeff Oxenford, Jeremy Williams, Shannon Bartman, Katy Lightner, Connie Goebel, Sam Garner, Gabe Staznik, Robby Enagbare, Abbey Roberts, Doug LaSala, Melody Pierce, and Mike Gottier. The band would like to thank the Warwick School District Board of Directors, Administration, Acting Superintendent Dr. Lombardo, Principal Mr. Ginter, staff, and the Warwick Band Parent Organization for their continued support.
